CARITAS HUNGARY TO CONSTRUCT 17 HOUSES AT   LAKDINU UDYANAYA MUNHENA BERUWELA  

Mr Adanyi Laszlo, Secretary General Caritas Hungary together with Ms Orsolya Sarmasy Project Coordinator laid Foundation Stones on Tuesday 26 February at Lakdinu Udyanaya Munhena for the construction of 17 houses for the Tsunami affected in the Kalutara District.

The project funded by Caritas Hungary and implemented by Seth Sarana Caritas Colombo was facilitated by the National Centre CSL SEDEC. 

Rev Fr Jude Raj Fernando Director Seth Sarana Caritas Colombo together with staff from the Head Office and Payagala Sub Office participated in the event. 

The project with infrastructure, water, sanitation, electricity and other facilities is to cost over

Rs 18 million.  Site clearance is to begin immediately       

Seth Sarana is committed to building Homes for the poor and marginalized empowering them to live secure and dignified lives through Animation and Livelihood/Income Generating activities.
