The first segment of the counseling course "Door Open"  is being conducted by Mrs. Inge Missmahl who comes to us through our facilitating partners Caritas Germany.

Objectives of the Course

As a result of the many Changes taking place in the Socioeconomic & Cultural Conditions in Sri Lanka There are stressful turmoil we face within our families, our work places and educational places. Due to these situations of turmoil the number of those who are psychologically/Mentally affected is rapidly increasing. It is increasingly becoming essential that relief should be given to those mentally affected by this situation of turmoil & stress. 

In order to provide the necessary relief it is essential to provide appropriate training and education to relief providers. The main purpose and aim of the “Door Open” Course is to train a team to work in this field as Individual Psychosocial action development.
