Scholarships
and Bursaries are granted with interests accruing from
Deposit Funds donated by generous persons for the express
purpose of helping persevering and deserving poor
children
from Grade 1 up to GCE O/Levels under the Buddhidana
Scholarship Fund.
Similarly
too deserving poor students are assisted from the Higher
Education Fund initiated by the Archbishop from A Levels
through University, Technical and Vocational Studies and
Job Oriented specialized Study courses and training
effectively off setting disrupting of their education
through poverty. The above programmes are on-going
and awarded by to worthy candidates.
Buddhidana Scholarship Scheme:
The
Buddhidana Scholarship Scheme which is made available twice
an year in July and December is another programme
administered by Seth Sarana Children’s Unit.
In
December 2006 114 students received these awards following a
competitive examination. They are from:
